Hal Peterson Middle School Principal

I am honored to serve as the Hal Peterson Campus Principal in the same district that has molded me first as a student and now as an educator. I look forward to working closely with our students, staff, families, and community partners to build on the strong traditions of excellence that define our campus. I am excited for the opportunities ahead and grateful for the privilege of leading and serving Hal Peterson Middle School.

I graduated from Schreiner University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and began working in the district in 2003 as a Functional Living Para while completing an alternative certification program. In 2006, I began teaching 8th grade English at Hal Peterson Middle School. After earning a Master of Education in Guidance and School Counseling from Angelo State University in 2015, I became a school counselor at Hal Peterson Middle School in 2018 and was named Lead Counselor in 2022. In 2023, I earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Angelo State University and began serving as Associate Principal at Hal Peterson Middle School in August 2023.
