School Resource Officer

Mark Rodriguez

My name is Mark Rodriguez, and I am excited to be your School Resource Officer (SRO) at HPMS, working with the Kerrville Police Department. I have dedicated 27 years in law enforcement and graduated from the San Antonio Police Academy in 1998, after attending San Antonio College. I retired from the San Antonio Police Department in 2021. The transition into the SRO role allows me to combine my law enforcement experience with my passion for mentoring our youth.

I look forward to maintain a safe, supportive and positive environment for all KISD students and campuses.

Outside police work, I have spent nearly 25 years as a club volleyball director and coach in San Antonio and continue to support all athletes and coaches. My personal life centers around my family, grandchildren and friends, where I love spending all my free time.
