Principles of Applied Engineering - 8th Grade

Successful completion of Principles of Applied Engineering counts for high school credit. This course will serve as the foundation for the rest of your manufacturing and mechanics classes through high school.  In this  course, you will receive an overview of various fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and their interrelationships. You will develop engineering communication skills, which include computer graphics, modeling, and presentations, by using a variety of computer hardware and software applications to complete assignments and projects. Upon completing this course, you will understand the various fields of engineering and will be able to make informed career decisions.  Further, you will have worked on a design team to develop a product or system. You will use multiple software applications to prepare and present course  assignments. This course is a prerequisite for high school Robotics I. High School Credit Class. Full Year Course.
